Dr. Rahul Razdan
Rahul has over 20 of years executive management experience in a variety of roles in sales, R&D, and marketing. Most recently, he has been involved with two successful technology startup exits at PwrLite (Board Member) and WiPower (CEO). Previously, he worked at Cadence Design Systems where he was the GM of a $400M division. He has authored numerous technical papers and is named on 24 issued patents. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University.
Rich has over 20 years of experience managing Fortune 500 brands including Brunswick's Mercury Marine in General Management, Product Development, Sales and Marketing roles. As CEO / President, he has led premier lifestyle companies including Old Town Canoe and Confluence Water Sports. In addition, as VP of Operations for American Capital Strategies, Rich spearheaded critical assignments in restructuring, turnarounds, and M&A on businesses up to $350M. He holds a BS in Engineering from WPI and a MBA from Kellogg.
Zhenbo specializes in building cloud based server-side architecture software for large scalable platforms, developing cross-platform HTML5 based applications and optimizing server performance. Zhenbo leads the team working on the Ocoos cloud, mobile and server infrastructure. Zhenbo has great interest in adopting cutting edge technology. In his spare time, he likes playing ping-pong, billiards, and is a graduate of the University of Florida.
Fang specializes in database and ecommerce systems in the context of cloud computing platforms. She leads the team responsible for the Ocoos database and integration with various ecommerce as well as point-of-sale systems. In her spare time, Fang loves to cook and travel. Fang is a graduate from the University of Florida where she performed extensive research on scalable software systems.
Zack specializes in digital design and marketing. In terms of design, he works with Andrew on the overall look/feel of the Ocoos website. In addition, working with the executive team, Zack leads the team which drives all of Ocoos's efforts in digital advertising on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. In his spare time, Zack enjoys computer and tabletop games. He is a graduate of Rasmussen College of Ocala.
Michael specializes in building websites hosted on the Ocoos Platform. As an accomplished builder, he leads the customer service and support effort to ensure your online goals are met. Michael has a natural chutzpah for web design and can bring your website into the next-generation. In his spare time, he plays FIFA, ping pong and fishes the flats. Michael is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance.
Tyler was our internal sales and partner liaison throughout Ocoos beta until public release in 2013. Pairing his meticulous work ethic and impetus for success, Tyler now works with many clients and companies to help find them a successful online solution with Ocoos . Tyler graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance and sits on the board for The Alex McDonald Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. He enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, adventurous eating and helping entrepreneurs succeed with the power of Ocoos.
Michael has been involved with online consulting for nearly 10 years. His knowledge of consumer demand has helped product development and software application become a valuable commodity to the ever changing digital market. He brings his high spirits, approachable attitude, and technical knowledge to the diverse table here at Ocoos. He dabbles in martial arts, traveling, and the occasional dance session.
Mark Bertolami - Advisor
Mr. Bertolami is a senior operating executive with over 25 years of experience developing and managing global brands in technology oriented consumer packaged goods. Over the course of his career he has worked for Procter & Gamble, Gillette, Duracell, and Kraft in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility in a broad range of functions (including General Management, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Business Development, and Operations) and channels (including Mass Retail, B2B, and OEM). In his most recent assignment, Mr. Bertolami served as President of Procter & Gamble's Global Duracell (Portable Power) Business and as Chairman of the Board of China Battery Holdings – a majority owned Chinese joint venture. In his role as President, Mr. Bertolami had full P&L responsibility for the $2.5B global Duracell franchise – a business evenly split between the US and the Rest of the World with sales in over 70 countries in Western, Central and Eastern Europe; Latin America; Asia; and the Middle East & Africa.
Frank Hennessey - Advisor
Frank M. Hennessey, Director since 2001 Mr. Hennessey has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hennessey Capital, LLC, a provider of business and financial resources, since 2002. He is also Chief Executive Officer of Hennessey Arabian, LLC. From 1995 to 2003, he was the Chairman of Emco Limited, a building materials manufacturer and distributor. He was also Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MascoTech, Inc., a transportation industry metalwork manufacturer from 1998 through 2000. Mr. Hennessey served as Chief Executive Officer of Handleman Company from 1980 to 1989. Prior to 1980, he was Group Managing Partner for Coopers & Lybrand. He received a B.S. in business administration from Northeastern University. In addition to his service on the Company’s Board of Directors, Emco Limited’s Board of Directors and MascoTech’s Board of Directors, Mr. Hennessey has served as a director or trustee of many community and professional organizations.
Dr. Jinhong Xie - Advisor
Dr. Xie teaches MBA and EMBA Program at the University of Florida. She has taught managerial statistics, pricing policy, marketing research, marketing strategy, and international marketing. Her current research interests are emerging technology and service strategy, social networks, word of mouth communication, technology and fashion, independent product information, network effects and standards competition. Dirk Meyer - Advisor
Dirk Meyer retired in 2011 after a 28 year career in the computer and semiconductor industries. His most recent position was President and CEO of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), a title which he held since 2008. Over a span of fifteen years at AMD Dirk served in a series of leadership roles including Vice President of Microprocessor Engineering General Manager of AMD's Microprocessor business, President, COO, and ultimately CEO. Prior to joining AMD, Dirk worked at Digital Equipment Corporation and Intel Corporation. He was presented with the prestigious Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Maurice Wilkes Award at the 2003 International Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA). Dirk graduated from the University of Illinois and was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2009. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University.
Richard Watts - Advisor
Recently retired, Richard was the Group President of Sales and Service at Progressive Corporation, a large Property and Casualty Insurer with $US 14 billion in sales. In that role he was responsible for 60+ million customer interactions, six call centers with ~9,000+ FTEs and the overall customer experience, reporting to the CEO. Those interactions included Sales, Servicing, Policy Processing, and First Notice of Loss. He was also the Net Promoter Score Executive Sponsor at Progressive, responsible for shepherding the systems and processes across all company functional and business areas. Before that he was the Direct Business Leader responsible for the product design, pricing, creative, promotion, and building of strategic alliances with banks and other insurers. He had P&L responsibility for this $2 billion block of business. During his 33 year career he also held a number of GM roles in Marketing, Product Management and in Claims. He helped expand Progressive's franchise to other countries. Having been with Progressive since 1977, at the time writing just $70mm in annual sales and with 460 employees, he experienced a 200 fold increase in business and a 50 fold increase in headcount. He was born in Canada, grew up in England and was educated in the US. Richard is a graduate of Boston University from where he obtained a Masters of Science degree. He also is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.
