Prascend is FDA-approved to help control the clinical signs associated with Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (Equine Cushing’s Disease).  Available as 1 mg tablets in SmartPaks, or in a 60-count or 160-count package.  Tablets are half-scored.

Prascend tablets should not be crushed due to the risk of human exposure.  Instead, Prascend tablets may be dissolved in water and syringed into the horse's mouth or top dressed on his feed, or an undissolved tablet may be placed into an apple or other treat and given to the horse.
