HCG Programs – A medically supervised program that uses a more aggressive calorie restriction, supported by a natural hormone (HCG), that allows men and women to shed fat more rapidly, while maintaining lean muscle mass. We offer a 20 or 40 day program.

What is HCG?

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a hormone naturally produced in large quantity during pregnancy. When used for weight loss, it targets excess body fat, while helping to preserve lean muscle mass and the basal metabolic rate. Dr. ATW Simeons found that small regular doses of HCG caused the body to release abnormal fat when used in conjunction with a specific 500 calorie daily diet. This is detailed in Dr. Simeons manuscript Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity.

The HCG protocol – this consists of a restricted calorie diet of 500-700 calories per day, along with daily injections of HCG. The body, in turn, uses excess fat stores for its energy source. Dieters are not typically hungry even though the amount of food they are eating is small. They are put in a ketosis state, made popular by the Atkins diet.
