Riding with Fire's Daily Messages

We are born into this life individually and We leave this world individually though we are connected to all of life. Is our true reflection mirrored in the eyes of one another or within the soul of the world? We have choice with how we walk our paths here, with the decisions we make, the people we associate with, the thoughts we generate, the beliefs we hold, the parameters with which we live our lives by. We can change these at any point in time but we cannot change our birth time or our transition time. We can choose what we give importance to with the time we are given and whom we allow to be our reflection. What is your truth? What matters most with the time you are given here and whom do you allow to influence you? Whom do you allow to expand or contract your world?

An event, a moment, the smallest of words can dramatically shift our perspective, our focus of what holds importance and relevance in our lives.  Such a gift, usually unexpected and seemingly accidental or even coincidental, can bring us into a new place of insight and clarity even shifting our life direction entirely.  Time is often needed to process such a profound inner opening though it usually occurs suddenly and without effort on our part as though we are observers witnessing ourselves through a new lens.

Maybe (Taoist story) There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. "Such bad luck," they said sympathetically.  "Maybe," the farmer replied. The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "Maybe," replied the old man. The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "Maybe," answered the farmer. The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. "Maybe," said the farmer. What we think we know versus what we actually know combined with what truly is the Universal unfolding is like trying...

With Love

Our human paths take many twists and turns. Some of what we encounter is very beautiful and some of it is very painful. It is all our soul's classroom while we are incarnate here. This does not equate to easy. The day has the night and the sun has the moon and the land has the water. We are each here to fulfill our part within the Soul of The World. Coming together, truly coming together from the heart, for one another and for all of life is the foundation of the journey.
