The Valiant Air Command was formed in 1977 to preserve the history of military aviation, encourage the gathering of men and women in camaraderie, research and warbird restoration, and to educate the public. The museum has ten acres at the Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville.
The Warbird Museum displays, maintains, and restores all types of military aircraft from World War I to present day. The museum has a large collection of vintage warbirds, memorabilia, artifacts and teaches about the legacy of the pilots who flew them. The museum also includes a large restoration hanger.
The Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum is the home of the annual Warbird Airshow every March. The 37th Annual Tico Warbird Airshow is tentatively scheduled for March 14, 15, and 16, 2014. For the first time there will be a night show with live entertainment aerial performers and fireworks. The Airshow will feature modern military jets, WWII reenactors, vendors, exhibits, and displays.
