Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years related experience Experience in plant engineering, capital project management, maintenance, reliability, or utilities required PSM facility coverage experience preferred Experience with safety instrumented systems and their management is a plus Leadership skills and experience Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Technical expertise - chemical plant processing and utilities, project execution, maintenance and reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance Experience with the development of and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies a plus Ensure technical EHS compliance with corporate guidelines and local regulations Training and/or certification in Lean Six Sigma a plus .
Job Duties: This position is responsible for leading the Engineering Site Services, Maintenance, Utilities, Reliability and Instrumentation and Capital Engineering Site Services supporting the Production, Material Handling, Laboratory and Administration facilities. This position leads and directs the activities of company and Contractor Employees to ensure a safe an effective and efficient maintenance and capital investment program. The position is responsible to develop/implement/maintain procedures and good engineering practices to keep the site compliant with company and relevant regulatory standards. Principal Responsibilities: Oversees specific aspects of the site investment programs for the Catalysts business unit including project manager, project assignments, resource planning, goal setting, and priorities Ensures strict compliance with company project management procedures and policies
Ensures strict compliance with engineering specifications and all standards and codes Works with the Site Leadership team to develop long range capital planning with Regional and Global Business Leaders for the respective Business Units Coordinate capital support from the Regional Service Center Leads the hiring, supervising and evaluating of project managers and discipline engineers Leads a team of discipline engineers to work with operations to identify capacity bottlenecks and provides solutions to leverage capacity and capabilities by developing and implementing appropriate measures Manages site process and production engineers Collaborates with other department managers to understand future capacity & capability needs and develop rational and justification for investment projects Manages and coordinates that activities and relationship between company and external engineering and construction resources Ensures oversight and project management leadership to investment projects including monthly reports to key stakeholders and capital plan budget development .
