EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; This
position requires someone with significant amount of Assembly Engineering (or relevant) experience (5+
years preferred) to manage a large capital project for a new assembly and test line. Must have Assembly
Engineering background with a minimum of $3M + Project Management experience.

Job Duties:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY: Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout
of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with planning and design staff
concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and
evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times,
staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. ¢ Confers
with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules,
and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Application of knowledge on helical
gear manufacturing Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and
potential. Co. Designs part processing and determines machine and process specifications.
Administers RFQ\'s for machines, gages and tooling. Creates time line for programs.
Participates as a decision maker in cross functional teams, SEG meetings, Launch meetings and Worthiness
meetings. Analyzes production processes for capacity. Works toward continuous
improvement. Performs machine runoffs at manufacturer and in-house. Performs time
studies. Provides operator training Participates in the production of AQP
documentation to AIAG standards. Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and
equipment to perform engineering tasks.
