Job Duties:

This fast-growing Global Developer and Manufacturer of Pharmaceutical; a World Leader in their industry is seeking a Plant Manager. This position will manager all activities at the Site. Organizes and directs the activities of site engineering, production, maintenance, and supporting services to meet the business commitments of the Corporation. This position is also responsible for maintaining compliance in Environmental, Safety, and Health. Provides both short-term tactical plans and long term strategic plans to the various business groups represented at the site. Also, responsible for the cost effective use of resources to meet the needs of the businesses. All functions will be accomplished safely, timely, economically and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Insures that the site complies with all safety and environmental regulations, Insures that finished product is manufactured according to established SOPs and cGMP conditions. Establishes site priorities and sets timetable Works with Supply Chain and Commercial groups on high level customer supply and inventory issues. Works with Quality to implement efficient and effective quality systems Delegates key tasks and develops technical staff. Develops plan to address variances in production costs, i.e. energy usage, product yields, packaging, labor etc. Looks at long term view of plant and make sure appropriate projects are being planned and implemented to keep site viable.
