Facilities Manager - Central California

Education Requirements:

Certified in Facilities Mgmt, not required but desired.

Job Description:

Manage the daily Facility activities required to support 24x7 Semiconductor Fab operations and support buildings. Focus is on providing site support to all facets of the site facilities' requirements relating to building and equipment repair, preventive maintenance, inspections, and various site activities as requested. The goal is to ensure that the facility and manufacturing operations are that of a world class manufacturing facility and operation is not negatively impacted due to facilities or equipment failures.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate repair/routine maintenance on facilities and equipment including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, air compressors, DI H2O, PCW, Waste treatment, janitorial activity, and tasks relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the property. * Support all site operating permits and certifications. This includes but not limited to HMMP, Water Board, Air Resources Board, Hazardous Waste and Fire. * Responsible for the P&L in the area of Facilities responsibility. * Building Management Systems, monitoring and notifications. * Life Safety systems including toxic gas monitoring. * Manage facilities and equipment maintenance staff and ensure continuous service. * Work with staff to set and attain meaningful performance and developmental goals. Monitor the progress of staff goals and provide appropriate support. Address necessary issues to keep unsatisfactory performance, disruptions to a minimum. * Participates in the selection of contract services, vendor negotiation of service agreements and day-today monitoring of vendor performance to assure full compliance with standards established within the service agreement. * Coordinate all departmental safety activity, including training, assuring that all environmental and safety requirements are attained. * Maintain clean room supporting systems including HEPA filters and air handling equipment, routine area particle count. * Carry out routine maintenance and inspection of fire protection system. * Tracking and assigning facilities work orders until closure. * Maintain effective communications at all levels. * 24/7 on call to support manufacturing operations.

Skills, Education, and Experience:

Minimum 7 years previous facilities management experience. * Strong working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. * AutoCad experience preferred. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to creatively develop and implement approved maintenance solutions to improve equipment performance. * Knowledge and experience to support the day to day operation as well as the multitude of projects that are performed throughout the year.
