Must have at least 10 years in construction of Chemical or Refinery experience.

Job Duties:

Act as liaison between clients, contractor's and subcontractor's on construction projects. Capable of

managing and coordination of vendor representatives. Ensure contractor compliance with all project

specifications and design documents. Review contractor's quality control procedures. Observe whether the

contractor complies with the overall plan and job specifications. Review contractor's safety procedures and

verify it complies with OSHA and client policies and procedures. Evaluate the contractors material control

procedures. Complete materials receiving and inspections. Complete documentation for all material

received, issued or in non-conformance. Assist with the development of the Procurement Plan and Status

Report (PPSR). Coordinate all materials for projects assigned. Prepare scopes of work for the bidding

process. Verify the bidders for construction scope are qualified for the work and that their performances and

workloads are supporting project needs. Complete on sire bid walk downs. Complete bid evaluation of

contractor's and advise management. Verify that proposed bidders have the specific expertise required to

execute the scope of work. Assist in monitoring budgets, forecast to complete and project productivity data.

Reviews request for progress payments and advise management. Capable to accurately estimate project

cost. Establish and monitor schedules for construction. Proficient in the critical path method (CPM)

scheduling. Coordinate daily construction activities between multiple contractors to avoid interference and

man power conflicts. Prepare a construction daily report for each shift worked. All daily reports are done in

Prolog. Maintain document control system. Ensure that all on site contractors are working to the latest deign

documents. Maintain project as built drawings. Ensure that all contractors are performing their work in

accordance OSHA and the Owners safety standards. Conduct weekly safety meetings and conduct safety

audits on a weekly basis. Work with Owner/Construction Engineer during the change management process.

Complete weekly progress meetings with contractors and client. Complete meeting minutes and distribute

as required. Complete monthly progress reports and distribute as required. Manage the Request for

Information (RFI) process. Manage submitter process. Perform inspections of materials as required.
