    12:15pm 1 Hour CE: "Understanding Living Benefits of Life Insurance" (Course #94512)

    This 1 credit CE course will examine current trends of insurance products including new riders which provide the insured with access to their life insurance death benefits while they are alive.

    1:15pm 1 Hour CE: "Current Trends of Insurance Products" (Course #94511)

    This 1 credit CE course will examine current trends of insurance products including new riders, new methods of beneficiary options, life insurance as an asset class, and examine Indexed Universal Life.

    About Michael Smith:  Mike Smith is President of CPS Horizon Financial, an insurance brokerage firm. Mike’s clientele are financial advisors, accountants, insurance advisors and attorneys who’s clients need various insurance products. CPS Horizon represents 3 dozen carriers and helps advisors with life, disability insurance, long term care, annuities, impaired risk cases, and living benefits. Prior to purchasing CPS Horizon, Mike was in personal production qualifying for life membership in MDRT including Court of the Table.

    Mike has presented sales ideas, marketing programs, and information on current insurance and investment trends to the Million Dollar Round Table, The Financial Planning Association, The Society of Financial Service Professionals, and 5 times at the NAIFA National Convention. 

    Mike is also the current Member Benefits Chair for NAIFA at the national level.

    Married to Pamela.  Two daughters Stephanie 17, Hannah 15.

    Hobbies include travel, going to Packer games, collecting sports memorabilia, playing basketball, and trying to communicate with his teenage children.
