Thank You for Your Service
I wanted to thank all the service members past and present for their service on the eve of such an important holiday for our nation. You may be asking what is the significance of the picture attached to this post.
The boots belonged to my Great Uncle:

- Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters
The Marine Garrison Cover is mine, but represents my other Great Uncle:
Sgt Clarence E. Rader, July 2, 1922 - Aug 1, 1944, 18 Marines, 2 Marine Division - KIA Tinian
Div, World War II (Clarence E. Rader Jr., b: WA, d: age 22 yrs when killed in action World War II,
These two men were part of my family, but I know you all have your own stories of loved ones past and present who've paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Thank you for allowing me to share a proud and sad moment in celebrating the sacrifice of my Great Uncles.
