Oral allergy Syndrome

Recently many patients have experienced an itching inside mouth after eating for no apparent reason. Itching inside mouth can result from different reasons from an allergy to yeast infection. A condition called oral allergy syndrome has been talked about recently. Oral allergy syndrome is a condition with itching in throat and mouth due to pollen associated food allergy in about 5% of population. If you are allergic to birch pollens, you may develop itching inside the mouth upon ingestion of fruits and vegetables. Eating cooked food can avoid symptoms.
