Very often patients go to ER to get shots for an acute allergic reaction and get relief.
However, they keep going to ER repeatedly to get corticosteroid injections without addressing the issue of what is causing the allergic reaction. That is not a good practice as you need to find out what is causing the reaction and take measures to prevent such reactions.
