Our hotel is located adjacent to the world-famous Silver
Springs State Park. Formerly known as Silver Springs Theme Park, Silver
Springs has changed from what you may remember it being a few years ago.
Getting back to Old Florida roots has been the true goal at Silver
Springs State Park. While you won't see any exotic animals here anymore,
you're still invited to take an enchanting ride on the World Famous Glass
Bottom Boats. Tours are available daily and range from 30-45 minutes and
include a knowledgeable guide who will point out many of the
indigenous wildlife species here in central Florida.
the park has grown to incorporate the Silver River State Park. This
extends the park considerably and includes a longer blueway kayak run.
Those who prefer to venture out on their own will enjoy the hiking and
nature trails within the park. Silver Springs now offers a museum, canoe
and kayak rentals, and camping. The newly opened state park also includes
new concessionaires and gift shops as well as a new banquet, event and weddings
addition to the nature trails, the glass-bottom boats, and the canoe and kayak
rentals, the newly opened park will also include horseback rides available
through Cactus Jack’s Trail Rides. We
encourage you to get out and visit the new park. Even if you have been
there in the past, you’ve never seen it like this!
