In addition to stationary exhibits, the Appleton also participates in botanical displays, children’s art programs, live musical events, film screenings, and other educational activities open to the community. Their large auditorium hosts many of these activities. Adult classes and workshops are also available and include watercolors, abstract art, and 2D drawing.
The Appleton Museum is an extension of the University of Central Florida, and, as such, included some exhibits of works of students. Tours of the museum can be self-directed or you may choose to go along with a guided group and docent. Permanent exhibits that you can always look forward to include; European, American, Contemporary, Asian, Islamic, African and pre-Colombian.
