The Texas-EU Business Summit is the premier event for Texas businesses, entrepreneurs and economic development professionals seeking to expand their footprint in Europe. The summit provides Texas businesses, entrepreneurs, policymakers and target businesses with an overview of trade and expansion business opportunities in Europe as well as information and connections to make the most of those opportunities.
This year’s summit brings together high-level keynote speakers, panel discussions offering valuable information for doing business in the world’s largest regional market, and a new event, the Interactive Trade Forum.
Regional panels focus on Nordic Countries, the Mediterranean Rim, and Western and Central Europe. Each panel brings together trade representatives and executives from private enterprise to provide insights into accessing the region’s market and discuss region-specific market conditions and business opportunities.
The Interactive Trade Forum will highlight services available to companies through the United States Commercial Service (USCS) and offer participants the opportunity to directly network with business leaders and EU trade representatives.
Thomas Lambert, Deputy Chief of Mission for the Belgian Embassy in Washington, will provide an update on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). Robert Sherman, US Ambassador to Portugal, will explore entrepreneurship and the transatlantic partnership. Caroline Vicini, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to the US, will provide a keynote address on the state of the EU.
