Robin Petzold

Robin grew up on an operational family farm in Northern New Jersey. He began riding horses at the age of five (5) years old, along with the rest of his family. He was active in 4-H and handled a variety of different livestock in his youth, but his passion for horses never diminished. After enrolling in college, to pursue a career in financial accounting, he discovered that the profession did not intrigue him as much as his desire to work with animals. After completing a two year degree in Business Administration, he moved on to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. This followed with a variety of different jobs in some of the major zoos and safari parks around the country, and later a job with the United States Department of Agriculture. During this time Robin continued to stay active within the horse industry.

Joshua Petzold

Joshua grew up with horse loving parents and quickly caught the bug himself. With a natural ability with horses Joshua has become an accomplished horseman and competitor. Horses have played a special role in Joshua’s life, as he has grown up with many obstacles to overcome. Joshua was diagnosed with Sturge–Weber syndrome and Mild Cerebral palsy when he was just a baby. As part of this Joshua suffered from seizures on a daily basis. Which made riding sometimes difficult and dangerous. We have been blessed with amazing horses who have taken care of Joshua over the years; horses truly are healers they and have helped him overcome his disabilities. When Joshua was 12 years old he underwent brain surgery to remove the part of his brain where his seizure activity was located. Prayers were answered and Joshua has been seizure free since.
