Winter & Spring Activities & Tours

On Mountain Activities
The Vail Valley is best known for its "Champagne Powder". The Colorado dry climate mixed with cold winter temperatures make for a very light and fluffy snow which is ideal for skiers and riders alike.

Skiing Vail
Vail is a marquis ski resort in the Colorado Rockies. Seven miles long, it is the largest single ski area in North America. With three mountain areas and 5,289 acres of terrain, Vail delivers the most diverse and expansive skiing in the world. Top that with over 300 days of sunshine annually, and you have a skiers paradise.

Ski lifts conveniently serve the three village areas of Lionshead, Vail Village and Gold Peak. The front side of Vail Mountain is home to more groomed terrain than any other resort. The World Famous Back Bowls offer wide open skiing and amazing views.

Skiing Beaver Creek
Beaver Creek Mountain features a European-style village-to-village skiing experience connecting Beaver Creek to Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead. The wide trails and impeccably groomed terrain befit the resort's world-class status. At this resort, the mountaintop beginner slopes allow even the newest skier to enjoy the incredible views of surrounding mountain peaks and fresh air.

At Beaver Creek grooming is their passion. They groom twenty hours a day, seven days a week. The result, 805 groomed acres a day or a total of 106,000 acres per season of pure corduroy for your skiing pleasure. From the gentle, manicured slopes of Bachelor Gulch, to the open intermediate trails of Larkspur and Rose Bowl, to the steep bumps of Grouse Mountain, skiers and riders of all abilities will feel at home on this mountain. Home to the Bird's of Prey downhill race course, Beaver Creek skiing challenges even the strongest skier or snowboarder.
